Questions in my mind that never has an ending

Assalamualikum

Have you all wonder why do our people here in Malaysia kept on thinking negatively on people whom loves to speak & write in English? I myself have been wondering about the same thing over and over again. Its not like talking in English is a sin or etc.

English is a language that is used world wide.It is consider as a second language in our country because our first language is Bahasa Malaysia/ Bahasa Melayu. People would think like people whom like to talk in English is a show off or just being a pain in the a**. But actually from what i heard from my friends is that, this people are just jealous because WE can speak better English then they can.

I used to be afraid to talk in English with my friends when i got back from Aussie because i was being teased by other people in my school, and other then that i can't speak any Malay language at that time. I remember this one day when one of my bullies told his mom that i bullied him and his mom "smack" me right on the face a few times, * I didn't bullied that guy, its the other way round. But hey, his momma's little boy. This situation i can't it out of my  mind. I don't know why. 

Now I just would speak in English with some of my friends whom are open minded about it. Its hard now days to find a friend who truely understands you with no such criticisms towards you. And i actually wonder if all this people know that English is such an IMPORTANT language now days.
